I started drawing and painting as a child and won several awards for my creative talents. Although I chose to study in the field of science, I never abandoned my love for art. Throughout my various stages in life, I always carried a sketch pad and continued to draw and sketch which often develop into more in-depth ideas, projects or detailed completed images.
I practice my art daily. I paint mostly in oil and watercolor - both on site and in my studio. The inspiration for my work can come from anywhere...from traveling to new places, a direct experience, personal imaginations, or images from the Internet. Everything is fair game for me. I also love to experiment with new ways to express, and is continuously pushing or bending the rules of painting.
Breaking from the mundane and approaching life from a different perspective is fun and important.
